The Washington Post reports:
U.S. Capitol Police said Friday that an Ohio man has been arrested after Rep. Max L. Miller (R-Ohio) alleged that the man threatened him on the road in his district Thursday.
Miller said he filed a report with both U.S. Capitol Police and local police. In a statement Friday, U.S. Capitol Police said 36-year-old Feras S. Hamdan of Ohio was arrested Thursday night and charged with aggravated menacing.
“In less than 24 hours, the USCP received notification of a threat against a Member of Congress, had boots on the ground, collaborated with the local police department, and the suspect in the case was arrested that same evening,” acting U.S. Capitol Police chief Sean Gallagher said.
