GOP Rep: I’m Reclaiming “Evil” Pride Month For Jesus

“I came out here [to Congress] with common sense values and with a foundation holding to biblical principles, constitutional principles, and then the Republican Party platform. I came out with the mission – which was the same as when I was in Illinois – and that is I believe God has left us on Earth as believers to overcome evil with good and Pride Month, in my opinion, is evil. The left hijacked it to promote gender confusion, to promote indecency, hyper-sexualizing our children and actually grooming our children. So, I decided I’m going to reclaim it for the family.” – GOP Rep. Mary Miller, promoting her “Family Month” resolution on the radio show of the far-right Christian nationalist group, The Wallbuilders.

The Wallbuilders was founded by disgraced Christian “historian” David Barton, who regularly lies that entire sections of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence are directly taken from the bible.

Miller last appeared here when she raged that a Sikh man, whom she misidentified as Muslim, had given the invocation before the US House, writing on X, “We are a Christian nation!”

Earlier this month, with the public backing of major anti-LGBTQ hate groups, Miller introduced a House resolution declaring June to be “Family Month” because “God hates perversion.”

Miller, whose allegedly militia-aligned husband allegedly attended the Capitol riot, first appeared here in 2021 when she positively quoted Adolf Hitler from podium of a Moms For America rally.
