Mediaite reports:
Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo fell for a fake rant about anti-Trump “No Kings” protests, reading aloud a spoofed social media post from President Donald Trump as if it were real.
In addition to Trump’s military parade Saturday to ostensibly celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, Trump’s 79th birthday was also marked with thousands of anti-Trump “No Kings” protests over the weekend.
Amid those protests, a screenshot of a social media post went viral. The post read “A HUGE THANK YOU” to “No Kings” protestors across the country. I was very concerned that a king was trying to take my place,” the post continues, “but thanks to your tireless efforts, I AM STILL YOUR PRESIDENT! Great job all!!!”
Read the full article. The fake post went viral thanks to Junior, but apparently nobody at Fox caught Junior’s admission that the post is fake.
Crenshaw: There were a ton of people there. That was a left wing lie.
Bartiromo: I loved the way the president handled it, he put it out a tweet(reads fake post)
Crenshaw: Yeah, I saw that pic.twitter.com/ZLtYWw5mut
