Cops: Man Who Jumped Mar-A-Lago Wall Wanted To “Spread The Gospel,” Marry Trump’s Granddaughter

The Palm Beach Daily News reports:

A Texas man has been arrested after Palm Beach Police said he jumped the wall of President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club and told officers that he wanted to “spread the gospel” to Trump and marry his granddaughter.

Anthony Thomas Reyes, 23, was arrested in the early morning of June 3 and faces a misdemeanor trespassing charge, court records show. He remained at the Palm Beach County Jail on a $50,000 bond after pleading not guilty later in the day during his first appearance before Judge Daliah Weiss, according to jail records.

Palm Beach Police responded just after midnight to Mar-a-Lago, where U.S. Secret Service agents said Reyes was found on the 17-acre property, and that Reyes told agents he had jumped over a wall to get there, an arrest report said. Trump was in Washington, D.C., at the time.
