Newsweek reports:
On Tuesday, Margo Martin, special assistant to President Donald Trump, posted a video on X of the president calling Savannah Chrisley regarding the announcement of his pardon of her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley.
Todd and [his beard] Julie Chrisley, stars of the reality TV series Chrisley Knows Best, gained fame for showcasing their lavish lifestyle and tight-knit family dynamics. The show, which debuted in 2014, built a loyal following around the couple’s Southern charm and parenting style.
However, their public image took a major hit when they were indicted in 2019 on multiple federal charges, including tax evasion, wire fraud, and conspiracy. In 2022, both were convicted of orchestrating a multimillion-dollar bank fraud scheme and for submitting false documents to secure loans and avoid paying taxes. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison and Julie to seven, though both sentences were later reduced.

Their daughter Savannah Chrisley was a featured speaker at last year’s Republican National Convention.
Todd Chrisley last appeared on JMG when his male business partner testified that they had been blackmailed over their sexual affair.
