House Passes “Gulf Of America” Bill In Party Line Vote

Democrats railed against the vote, with Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.) labeling it the “dumbest bill brought to the floor during the six years I’ve served in this Congress.” Even Rep. Jared Golden (D-Maine), who frequently defects on GOP messaging bills, told Axios: “It’s the same body of water, the same resources.”
