Trump Places Statue Of Himself At Florida Golf Resort

From the X account of Anthony Constantino:

Sticker Mule CEO and former NY-21 Congressional candidate Anthony Constantino gave President Donald Trump a gift that will now be a permanent fixture at his Trump International Golf Club.

Trump, with Constantino at his side, gleamed with pride after seeing the seven-foot, bronze monument for the first time on Saturday morning. It sits atop a stone pedestal with Anthony Constantino’s name engraved on it.

“The President was in a happy, joking mood which was great to see,” said Constantino, who is also a member of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.

President Trump and Constantino met at the monument before the President went out to play a round of golf. They were joined by special guests Roger Stone, who’s become an advisor and friend to Constantino, as well as Bo Loudon a friend of Barron Trump.

The iconic statue, named “The Defiance Monument”, is prominently placed between the Trump International clubhouse and the first hole of the 27-hole golf course. It’s prominently visible for all of members to see.

“I was shocked to be stopped by the CEO of one of my competitors, who loved the monument, and was golfing while I unveiled it. I won’t say who to protect them from the far left hate I’ve had to deal with,” said Constantino.

The unveiling of “The Defiance Monument” caps a two-day trip for Constantino that started on Friday night with dinner at Mar-a-Lago. Constantino dined with Roger Stone at a table across from the President and Elon Musk.

During dinner the President called Mr. Stone “the greatest political strategist of all time” in a conversation with Elon Musk. “It was a great night, and I have to say, I feel lucky to have Roger Stone as my tour guide to Mar-a-Lago royalty,” said Constantino.

Albany’s CBS affiliate reports:

Constantino said the statue commemorates Trump’s survival of an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania during his campaign, an event that propelled Constantino into politics. Constantino is currently at odds with the city of Amsterdam [New York] over plans to build a Trump-themed park on Sticker Mule property, featuring an “America Loves Trump” sign larger than last fall’s “Vote for Trump” sign. The Amsterdam zoning code denied a variance request for the new sign.

From an October 2024 New York Times report:

Sticker Mule first garnered attention for its politics in July, when Mr. Constantino said he sent an email with the subject “Trump 2024” to over four million mailing list subscribers. Confusion ensued. The online business operates all across the country, and in many international markets.

“I had to double-check who it was coming from,” said Adam Bredlau, 27, a Seattle resident who said he used to order T-shirts and magnets through the website for his punk band, Jet Lag. “My initial thought was, Oh, I’m done, I’m not using them anymore,” he said.

Critics of the letter argued that the company made things worse when it began posting the email addresses of some respondents on social media.

Constantino had planned to run in a special election to replace GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik, but that election isn’t going to happen since Trump pulled her nomination to be UN Ambassador in order to help preserve the slim Republican majority in the US House.
