Little Rock’s ABC affiliate reports:
Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has signed the bill that would require the display of the national motto and the Ten Commandments in public classrooms across all education levels and in public buildings operated by taxpayer funds.
Senate Bill 433 (SB433) requires the Ten Commandments to be displayed in a size that is legible to a person with average vision from anywhere in the room in which the poster is displayed. The Ten Commandments must be posted with a sixteen-inch by twenty-inch frame.
The national motto, “In God We Trust”, will also be required to be displayed in public school districts and local government offices. The motto must be displayed as a durable poster or framed copy of at least 11 inches by 14 inches and displayed in a large font size.
