Grenell Attacks “Hamilton” Creators For Canceling

This is a publicity stunt that will backfire. The Arts are for everyone – not just for the people who Lin likes and agrees with. The American people need to know that Lin Manuel is intolerant of people who don’t agree with him politically. It’s clear he and Sellers don’t want Republicans going to their shows. Last month Trump tasked Grenell with ensuring that the Kennedy Center’s programming doesn’t include supposed “anti-American propaganda.” Since then, the Center has canceled the WorldPride concert by Washington DC’s Gay Men’s Chorus. Today’s statement from the official “Hamilton” account is below.
