Politico reports:
President Donald Trump on Friday suggested that recent attacks on Tesla cars and property have been more harmful than the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, emphasizing that the alleged Tesla attackers should be considered “terrorists.” On Thursday, Attorney General Pam Bondi moved to charge three people for allegedly destroying Tesla property with molotov cocktails, citing “domestic terrorism.”
Trump on Friday ramped up the terrorism talk, telling reporters in the Oval Office: “I view these people as terrorists.” But the president didn’t stop there, raising the Capitol riot unprompted. “You didn’t have that on Jan. 6, I can tell you,” Trump continued, adding that “nobody was killed” during the Jan. 6 attack except for rioter Ashli Babbitt. There have been no reports of deaths or injuries in connection with the Tesla protests.
