Reuters reports:
A U.S. appeals court on Friday temporarily paused a judge’s ruling that had blocked the administration of President Donald Trump from implementing bans on diversity, equity and inclusion programs at federal agencies and businesses that contract with the federal government.
The Richmond, Virginia-based 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals stayed a February ruling that said the directives by Trump, including an order urging the Department of Justice to investigate companies with DEI policies, likely violate the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
