Russian State TV Fact-Checks Alina Habba After She Repeats Stupid “$50M In Condoms Sent To Gaza” Lie

Newsweek reports:

Russian state media has fact-checked lawyer Alina Habba after her interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Tuesday. During an interview with Watters on Tuesday, Habba spoke about Trump’s plans to take over and re-develop the Gaza Strip.

Discussing former President Joe Biden’s foreign aid spending, Habba said: “We’ve seen $50 million to Gaza for condoms that they’re using for bombs.”

It was this comment that prompted the Russian state media RT News to post on the Russian news platform Dzen and fact-check her statement. RT News wrote that Habba’s comment “leans on debunked claim USAID was sending $50m to embattled enclave for ‘bomb-making condoms.'” It added, “It was to Gaza in Africa.”

As other outlets have reported, there is a Gaza province in Mozambique which did get humanitarian support from USAID, but certainly not $50 million in condoms. Yesterday Trump doubled his earlier claim, saying that $100 million in condoms was sent to Gaza “for Hamas to make bombs.”

Alina Habba says Democrats should support spending taxpayer dollars to annex Gaza and then pushes the debunked lie about the government spending millions on condom bombs for Gaza
