DOJ’s DC Prosecutor Vows To “Chase” All DOGE Critics “To The End Of The Earth To Hold Them Accountable”

Newsweek reports:

The acting U.S. attorney in Washington, D.C. sent a letter Friday saying his office is conducting an “inquiry” into people who were referred to him by Elon Musk, who oversees the Department of Government Efficiency. Martin said in his letter that his office will “chase” people to “the end of the Earth to hold them accountable,” even if they haven’t been found to have committed a crime.

Martin’s letter, which he described as a “follow up,” came days after he threatened legal action against anyone who “impedes” DOGE’s work or “threatens” its people. Martin shared the letter on X, formerly Twitter. It was addressed to both Musk and Steve Davis, a longtime Musk ally who oversees hiring at DOGE. Neither Martin’s office, nor Musk, have shared specifics about these alleged crimes.
