The Idaho Statesman reports:
An Idaho House committee will consider a formal statement asking the U.S. Supreme Court to end same-sex marriage nationwide and allow the state to restore its ban on such unions.
Rep. Heather Scott, R-Blanchard, proposed the measure that calls the 2015 decision from the nation’s highest court to legalize same-sex marriage an “illegitimate overreach.” It asked the court to reinstate the “natural definition of marriage” — saying that is between one man and one woman.
The committee moved Scott’s proposal forward Tuesday, and it will return to the committee for a public hearing at a date yet to be set. If ultimately passed by the Legislature, the statement — carrying only symbolic but not legal weight — would be sent to the Supreme Court.

Heather Scott last appeared here in February 2024 for her bill to ban the composting of human remains because people might dig up the bodies and eat them. (Yes, really.)
Scott first appeared here in 2020 when she called Idaho’s Republican governor “Little Hitler” over COVID lockdowns, which she compared to concentration camps.
She appeared here in 2022 when she held a talk on “the war of perversion against our children” by the LGBTQ community and invited a militia group to the stage.
Scott first made national news in 2017 when she defended white nationalism in a Facebook post.
Later that year she was stripped of her committee posts when she said that women only get Idaho leadership posts if they “spread their legs.”
Photos show Scott, an Oath Keepers supporter, brandishing the Confederate battle flag at her campaign events.
As you can see in the final tweet below, Scott claims that the Cybertruck bomber was a “Manchurian” operation by Democrats.

The outgoing regime is activating their Manchurian candidates who are America Last. Unfortunately there will be more of this to come as us American patriots regain our country. The next wave might include chaos from the cartels.
