Nashville’s NBC reports:
A new bill in Tennessee was filed on Friday that could change the name of the Nashville International Airport. It was filed by Rep. Todd Warner (R-Chapel Hill), ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday, Jan. 20.
HB 0217 applies to international airports operated by metropolitan airport authorities in counties with more than 500,000 residents (which would be Nashville) to be renamed Trump International Airport.
During the transition period, the airport may conduct business using its current name with the designation “doing business as Trump International Airport” or “d/b/a Trump International Airport.”

Cultists have previously attempted to rename the Palm Beach airport and a Florida state highway for Trump.
State Rep. Todd Warner [photo above] last appeared here in March 2023 when he branded Tennessee Lt. Gov. Randy McNally a “closeted and perverted child groomer” after McNally was exposed for having posted fawning comments on the Instagram account of a young gay man, something that was roasted in an SNL skit.
McNally, who has a history of anti-LGBTQ votes, later survived a no-confidence vote by state lawmakers.
In 2021, Warner’s home was raided by the FBI as part of an investigation into attack ads sent out by “a shadowy group, the Faith Family Freedom Fund.”
