Bloomberg Law reports:
Trump’s attorney general selection Pam Bondi is worth $12.2 million, $3.9 million of which is held in Trump Media shares she received after the Truth Social parent company went public last year, financial disclosures obtained by Bloomberg Law show.
After a long career in public service, Bondi appeared to accumulate much of her wealth once she entered the private sector in 2019, including for several Trump-associated ventures. She is likely to be confirmed as the Justice Department’s top official, following a Senate hearing on Wednesday in which Democrats raised repeated concerns about her loyalty to the president-elect.
Over the past year, Bondi received $1.1 million as a lobbyist with Ballard Partners—headed by senior Trump fundraiser Brian Ballard—and $520,000 with America First Policy Institute, a policy think tank also closely linked to Trump, her disclosures submitted to the Office of Government Ethics show.
