USA Today reports:
In Arizona, a proposed bill aims to rename State Route 260 as the “Donald J. Trump Highway” as a tribute to his presidency.
The bill, introduced by State Sen. Wendy Rogers, R- Flagstaff, cites Trump’s achievements for the designation, including winning the 2024 presidential election popular vote and “becoming the first Republican nominee for president to do so in 20 years.”
According to the Arizona Republic, Rogers is a confessed member of the Oath Keepers, the far-right militia group that figured prominently in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the nation’s Capitol.
Read the full article. Rogers, for whom no QAnon batshittery is off limits, last appeared here August 2024 when she declared that Joe Biden uses body doubles. That same week she promoted a claim that Biden had died in 2022.
In 2022, Rogers, who claims that all mass shootings are done by the federal government, was censured by fellow Republicans for spreading white nationalist posts.
Rogers regularly appears on the podcast of Hitler fan Stew Peters, best known here for his frequent calls to execute prominent Democrats.
