“Unfortunately, we will not be able to deliver on President Trump’s agenda as happened in 2016 because it has to be done legislatively. If we don’t have a Speaker with the courage, vision and the plan – and if Speaker Johnson wants to be speaker – then he needs to lay out the plan and commit to that plan, not like what he did last year.” – GOP Rep. Victoria Spartz, who recently said that she will no longer attend GOP caucus meetings.
Speaking to Fox & Friends, Spartz today also claimed that Johnson has challengers waiting in the wings. GOP Rep. Thomas “No To Everything” Massie has already said that he won’t support Johnson for Speaker, meaning that Johnson can only afford to lose one or two more votes. Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries has said that Democrats will not come to Johnson’s rescue. The first tweet below is from Breitbart.
NEW: @RepSpartz released statement explaining what she wants in Speaker candidate. While she doesn’t explicitly rule out backing Johnson on Jan. 3, this is not good for him as she laid out how he has failed and has several demands for constraints on eventual speaker. pic.twitter.com/5F5C2Kfcvi

Rep. SPARTZ tells @willcain she thinks “a lot of other people are interested” in being Speaker.
Spartz is not committed to supporting Speaker Johnson and alleges he’s “not willing to have the deliberation” with members who have issues.
