WV Youth Pastor Arrested On 175 Child Sex Charges

A pastor and youth minister at various churches in West Virginia and his wife have been arrested in a child sexual abuse investigation, troopers said.

John Waitman Radcliff II, 57, and Kathy Jean Radcliff, 52, face nearly 200 total charges in a sexual assault investigation dating back several decades in multiple counties, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police.

Troopers said they began investigating in 2004 and eventually learned of sexual assault and sexual abuse allegations involving numerous victims dating back to 1986. Troopers said Kathy Radcliff is believed to have had knowledge of the abuse and is accused of also committing crimes against children.
