MTG And Bannon Agree: She Should Be DHS Secretary

The Daily Beast reports:

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene argued MAGA loyalists like herself deserve priority consideration for cabinet positions over “brand-new people” in Donald Trump’s circle. “Those are brand-new people,” Greene said. “RFK, Vivek, they both tried to beat [Trump] in the presidential race this year.”

“And there’s those of us that have been very loyal,” Greene added. ”We understand his policies, we support them through and through. And I’d like to see people like us that have done that very much involved.”

Steve Bannon floated the idea of Greene heading the Department of Homeland Security. “You’re such a fighter,” Bannon said. “Now, is there truth to the rumor that you’re going to take over at DHS?” Greene, however, said she had no insight into the decision.
