Angry White Men reports:
Pete Hegseth, the co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend whom Donald Trump intends to nominate for Secretary of Defense, made several appearances on a YouTube show called Reformation Red Pill. The show’s host, Joshua Haymes, is a Christian nationalist who believes surrogacy should be banned, and abortion and gender-affirming care should be punishable by death.
He reacted to the news of Hegseth’s nomination by calling him a “faithful God fearing Christian” who “is about to bust up all the gay woke nonsense in our military in the name of Christ!” When another X user pointed to Hegseth’s history of infidelity and divorce, Haymes replied that Hegseth “greatly matured in his faith” and “is a member of my church.”
And between February and March 2024, Hegseth sat down for three interviews with Haymes which were turned into a four-part series promoting Hegseth’s book, Battle for the American Mind: Uprooting a Century of Miseducation.
