CNN reports:
Trump is planning to offer the role of secretary of agriculture to former Senator Kelly Loeffler, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins reported on Friday. Loeffler is expected to visit Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate later in the day.
Loeffler served as a senator from Georgia between 2020 and 2021, following the resignation of Johnny Isakson over health issues.
She then lost the Senate election to Democrat Raphael Warnock in November 2020 and currently sits on the board of online market place Public Square. Loeffler is said to have contributed over $4.9 million to Trump’s 2024 election campaign.

Loefller is probably bullish for Big Ag: her family are the big subsidized crop growers loathed by RFK types https://t.co/PEkCBlV38T pic.twitter.com/Qf6uoNKgg5
