Chesebro Loses NY Law License Over Felony Conviction

Former Trump attorney Kenneth Chesebro had his law license suspended in New York Thursday over his role in the alleged effort to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results.

Chesebro pleaded guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to commit filing false documents last year. He is among several ex-Trump lawyers who have been disciplined after working for the former president.

“Having concluded that respondent has been convicted of a serious crime, we accordingly suspend respondent from the practice of law in New York on an interim basis,” a New York court ruled.
