Elon Musk engaged in one of his regular habits on The Platform Formerly Known as Twitter, amplifying a controversial tweet by commenting that it was “interesting” — this time a right-wing account that called for democracy to be replaced with a government system run by “high status males” and “aneurotypical people.” Unsurprisingly, Musk’s promotion of the tweet was swiftly met with critical responses noting its sexist and antidemocratic position — and the conflict with Musk’s own claims to support free speech.
