Musk: No One Is Even Trying To Murder Biden/Kamala

Forbes reports:

Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of X, reacted to an apparent assassination attempt against former President Donald Sunday by pointing out that no one was trying to kill either President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris, in a post that drew strong condemnation on X.

On Sunday night, Musk reshared a post asking why people want to kill Donald Trump and wrote: “And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala,” followed by the thinking face emoji.

The post immediately faced blowback from X users, but the billionaire—who has endorsed Trump—appeared to double down, responding with a hundred points emoji to a reply saying: “Trump threatens the machine. Biden/Kamala are the machine.”

Newsweek reports:

Musk’s post, which appears to have been deleted, had been viewed 34.7 million times and liked 151,000 times by Monday morning.  The four most-liked responses to Musk’s post were all critical of the billionaire. User @AesPolitics1 wrote:

“What the f*** is wrong with you? Do you think before you press post?” Adam Kinzinger, a former Republican representative from Illinois, wrote: “Dude I’m not kidding here, get help. This is unhinged and dangerous.”

User @dogeofficialceo wrote, “Nobody should be trying to assassinate anyone.” And user @theliamnissan wrote, “Elon Musk is a threat to national security.”

Many are calling for Musk’s companies to lose their federal contracts.
