Atlanta’s ABC affiliate reports:
There is a heavy police presence at Apalachee High School in Barrow County, Georgia. This comes after reports of gunfire sent the school into a hard lockdown. At least six ambulances could be seen by local news helicopters. Students appear to have been evacuated to the school’s football stadium. Apalachee High School has nearly 1,900 students in grades 9-12. The school is in the city of Winder, about 45 miles northeast of Atlanta.
