Raleigh’s NBC affiliate reports:
North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is scheduled to be part of a meet-and-greet in Fayetteville on Saturday night in what’s believed to be his first public appearance following a report accusing him of making sexually explicit and racially charged comments online.
Robinson will talk in a campaign event at Fayetteville Motor Speedway at 6 p.m., according to a post on the venue’s Facebook page. The event is part of the Carlton Lamm ” Big C” Memorial Race. Tickets will be sold at the entrance.
Some Republicans have called on Robinson to do more to prove the comments were not his or risk hurting efforts by former President Donald Trump, the GOP presidential nominee, to return to the White House.

If the reporting on Mark Robinson is a total media fabrication, he needs to take immediate legal action. If the reporting is true, he owes it to President Trump and every Republican to take accountability for his actions and put the future of NC & our party before himself. #ncpol
