First, the backstory via Deadline:
Attacks on ABC and other broadcast networks are nothing new for Donald Trump, but tonight the former president went full rabid dog on the Disney-owned outlet, its boss and its star newsman. Doubling down as he always does; Trump then took his grievance to the top and implied the fix was already in on next week’s debate.
“I agreed to do it because they wouldn’t do any other network,” Trump insisted of the long scheduled ABC News debate to Sean Hannity tonight on a pre-recorded town hall on Fox News.
“The other thing is, her best friend is the head of the network,” Trump said in a red meat toss to the Fox crowd. While Trump never actually said the name of Dana Walden, it was pretty clear the Disney Entertainment co-chair and possible Bob Iger successor was his target.
Read the full article. Last night Hannity suggested, with homocon Tammy Bruce nodding along, that he’d call for boycotting Disney if the debate doesn’t go well for Trump. The cult, of course, is already years into a supposed Disney boycott because the company has dared to feature LGBTQ characters and storylines.
These are the whiniest, crybaby, snowflakes. Threatening the Disney CEO unless ABC is nice to poor little Donnie in the debate. So weak and pathetic. https://t.co/8BE1BA5Gpy
