Candace Owens, once a prominent voice in black conservatism, ignited a firestorm of criticism from right-wing commentators and media personalities who condemned an antisemitic rant she aired on X.
During a live broadcast on Sunday, titled The Truth About Zionism, Owens implied that Jews were responsible for the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
She continued: “They shot JFK in an open car, he was a sitting president, so my security doesn’t matter, if they want me they’re gonna get me.”
Read the full article. In the replies to the prominent right wingers below, some of Owens’ millions of followers are defending her with comments like “But is she wrong?” As you can see below, Owens also claims that Jews are “demonic” and that Israel is a safe haven for pedophiles.

I think part of it is algorithm-chasing. Paradoxically, when there was censorship on Twitter, she knew how to be provocative and stay within the edge. Now, the boundaries are gone and antisemitism drives negative attention. She fell into the trap and there is no way out.
