The Cincinnati Enquirer reports:
A man who was studying to become a Catholic priest at a Mount Washington seminary has admitted possessing multiple images and videos of children being sexually abused.
Broderick Witt, a former seminarian at Mount St. Maryβs Seminary and School of Theology, pleaded guilty Thursday to eight counts of possessing child sexually abusive material.
The images and videos were found on his cellphone, Hamilton County Assistant Prosecutor Christopher Lipps said. Witt, 29, spoke calmly and did not show emotion as he pleaded to the charges. He faces a maximum possible sentence of 12 years in prison.
