Western Wisconsin is the center of the presidential battle Wednesday, with both campaigns stopping in Eau Claire.
Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and her newly announced running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, are holding an afternoon rally.
Hundreds of attendees were already lined up by 7 a.m., and campaign organizers are expecting a crowd of 15,000. That would make it the largest rally yet for Harris. Tuesday night’s rally in Philadelphia saw a crowd of 10,000 inside, and 4,000 outside the venue.
