The Washington Post reports:
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump claimed late Friday night to have struck a deal for a new debate with Vice President Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee. But the Harris campaign said Saturday that she never agreed to a new debate deal. Harris is urging Trump to keep the debate date he agreed on with President Biden before Biden withdrew from the race last month.
In a social media post late Friday, Trump claimed he and Harris had agreed to debate on Sept. 4 on Fox News. Harris’s team was baffled by Trump’s claims. The Harris campaign said Saturday that there is no agreement for a new Fox News debate on Sept. 4. The campaign held no negotiations with Trump or Fox about a new debate. Fox representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Read the full article. As I reported earlier today, Trump is demanding that his handpicked Fox News host moderate the debate and claims that Fox has agreed to hold the event in Pennsylvania before a “full arena.” Harris has said that she will show up for the scheduled ABC News debate whether Trump attends or not.
BREAKING: Despite claims that Donald Trump has accepted the debate terms, Donald Trump has backed out and is now demanding new terms, including a change of venue. Donald Trump is scared sh*tless to debate Kamala Harris.

Seeing a lot of international media fall for Trump’s ploy (my local radio @Live95Limerick did so) on debates. He didn’t AGREE to debate. He OFFERED to move the existing ABC debate with rules onto his own propaganda channel, Fox News, w/o different rules. pic.twitter.com/iacXhDewaP
