“The Kamala campaign is starting to panic now that Swifties for Trump is starting to gain some momentum,” one X user with 294,000 followers posted as that word combination trended. “Yes, you can be a swiftie and a Trump supporter,” wrote an X user who goes by @trumpswiftie. “And don’t judge me.”
Swift endorsed the Democratic ticket of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2020. She criticized Trump’s “ineffective leadership” on social media in the weeks leading up to Trump’s defeat in the last presidential election. “He is WELL AWARE that we do not want him as our president,” Swift stated.
