Dem Rep. Sean Casten Calls For Biden To Drop Out

Politico reports:

A 21st House Democrat has joined the public call for President Joe Biden to step down. Rep. Sean Casten of Illinois on Friday published a Chicago Tribune op-ed titled “It’s time for Joe Biden to pass the torch,” adding himself to a growing list of Democratic defectors as Biden world finds itself in crisis.

“Politics, like life, isn’t fair,” Casten wrote. “And as long as this election is … litigated over which candidate is more likely to be held accountable for public gaffes and ‘senior moments,’ I believe that Biden is not only going to lose but is also uniquely incapable of shifting that conversation.”
