Dem Rep: Biden Should “Pass The Torch” To Harris

The Huffington Post reports:

Rep. Mark Takano (D-Calif.) has become the latest lawmaker to call on Biden to drop out of the 2024 race, saying the president should “pass the torch” to Vice President Kamala Harris. “President Biden’s greatest accomplishment remains saving democracy in 2020,” Takano said in a statement Saturday. “He can and must do so again in 2024 — by passing the torch to Vice President Harris as the Democratic Party Presidential nominee.”
