“Trust Jesus” Pro-Trump Bus Crashes Before NYC Rally

Mediaite reports:

Jesus did not take the wheel. A parked empty bus covered in signs supporting Donald Trump reportedly rolled down an incline and crashed into a utility pole on Staten Island, shortly before a rally for the former president in the New York borough on Saturday. Reportedly, no one was injured.

“It was parked by the CVS and it just rolled down,” says a man in the video, off camera. “Nobody was in it.” As the man filming went around the side of the bus, a giant sign saying, “TRUMP STORE” could be seen.“This, right after Trump gets declared guilty,” he says. “Talk about a metaphor.”

To clarify, the rally was for Trump but he wasn’t there. Instead, he was at a UFC match in Newark, where he basked in the praise of notoriously anti-LGBTQ fighter Sean Strickland.

Firefighters left the scene of the crash after learning that the bus was unoccupied, leaving city workers to deal with dislodging it from a tangle of poles and wires.

Reports haven’t identified the bus’s owner.

Some commenters on X say that Staten Island police have long ignored the allegedly not-roadworthy vehicle, which they say has no license plates.

As you’ll see in the clip, the bus came perilously close to crashing into the pumps of the gas station on that corner.
