The Regina Leader-Post reports:
The Hospitals of Regina Foundation has reiterated its “sincere and unconditional apology” for a standup comedy set performed by former Saturday Night Live actor — and well-known anti-vaxxer — Rob Schneider at a recent fundraising event.
Schneider was advertised as the main entertainment act for The Four Seasons Ball, a sold-out fundraiser hosted by the foundation on June 1 at the Conexus Arts Centre.
According to public accounts of the evening shared on social media, Schneider’s comedy set included jokes made at the expense of the LGBTQ2+ community. He also made several jokes about vaccination policies and the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to another report, audience members booed and began walking out until Schneider was removed from the stage.
Schneider last appeared here in April when he got the hook at a GOP event after what organizers called “raunchy and inappropriate jokes.”
Schneider, a rabid anti-vaxxer, has been lauded in recent weeks on Christian sites because he claims to have found Jesus and converted to Catholicism.

We had a banquet here this past weekend as a fundraiser for the local hospitals. TheY had Rob Schneider (why?)as “entertainment” who went off on a rants about vaccines, women’s rights, how white men are persecuted. People got up and walked out.
It was a HOSPITAL FUNDRAISER. FFS.
