CO Pride Flags Stolen After GOP Call To “Burn Them All”

Denver’s Fox affiliate reports:

A group of neighbors in one Front Range community are wondering who took their pride flags and why. Neighbors in Arvada said they woke up to bare flag posts and are now wondering if recent political messages played a role. The neighbors FOX31 spoke to say they fly pride flags every June. This year, the flags were stolen just days after some hateful political messages went public. “Just the level of destruction and malintent was pretty shocking,” one Arvada mom told FOX31.

Colorado Republican Party Chairman Dave Williams told FOX31 he believes the incident is “likely a hoax,” saying in a statement: “We make no apologies for saying God hates pride or pride flags as it’s an agenda that harms children and undermines parental authority, and the only backlash we see is coming from radical Democrats, the fake news media, and weak Republicans who bow down at the feet of leftist cancel culture.”
