The Birmingham News reports:
Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall has some thoughts on voter fraud and election integrity, and, under the right circumstances, he’ll share them. When Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election, Marshall sued to overturn the results.
Later, he appeared before Congress to testify as an expert witness. But when asked repeatedly whether President Joe Biden had been duly elected, Marshall refused to answer. Circumstances matter a lot to Marshall’s willingness to talk about voter issues.
Take, for instance, the case of John Wahl, chairman of the Alabama Republican Party. After the Alabama secretary of state forwarded Marshall complaints about Wahl not using proper voter ID….silence.

The last few times Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl voted, he presented poll workers with an ID they’d never seen before. To someone who had never seen a state employee ID, it could be mistaken for one. But it wasn’t.
In a 2015 deposition, Wahls’ brother Joshua Wahl said he and others in their family believe biometric identification — including photographs that could be used by facial recognition software — is the mark of the beast foretold in Revelation.

In 2022, I got a tip that a Limestone County poll worker had accused Alabama GOP chairman John Wahl and his family of violating Alabama’s voter ID law. (2/15)

What the poll worker said proved true. However, nothing happened to Wahl. Rather, Wahl pressured election officials to get rid of the poll worker, which they did. (4/15) https://t.co/RqT4w2f2Qa

After the first piece ran, I learned something more shocking: Wahl’s brother had been a witness for the NAACP’s lawsuit AGAINST the Alabama voter ID law. (5/15) https://t.co/LD01RY8lOp

After a little more digging, I got Wahl to admit he made the ID himself. Alabama Sec. of State John Merrill said then that it was not a valid voter ID under the law. (6/15) https://t.co/lzFY9zuo14

Marshall has been outspoken on voter fraud and criminal justice issues, though. He sued to overturn the 2020 election, has denied involvement in Jan. 6, and recently called Donald Trump’s New York trial a miscarriage of justice. (14/15) https://t.co/ySAgZH6IFs
