Former President Donald Trump hit back Thursday at media reports that he has been sleeping during his New York hush money trial. Various reporters from across the political spectrum have documented Trump asleep in court.
On Thursday, Trump decided to push back on those reporters and wrote on his Truth Social, “Contrary to the FAKE NEWS MEDIA, I don’t fall asleep during the Crooked D.A.’s Witch Hunt, especially not today. I simply close my beautiful blue eyes, sometimes, listen intensely, and take it ALL in!!!”
The irony of Trump sleeping during his trial has not been lost on many in the pundit class as Trump has long dubbed President Joe Biden “sleepy.”
