Use this post exclusively to share exit polls and results as they come in. Later tonight I’ll bump this post up to the top. Of most interest to Democrats is the California US Senate primary.
NBC News reports:
The NBC News Exit Poll interviewed voters about their decision in three Super Tuesday states — California, North Carolina and Virginia — and will have results available Tuesday evening.
The exit poll for the Virginia Republican presidential primary will include approximately 1,500 interviews with voters conducted Tuesday outside of 30 polling places throughout the state.
In North Carolina, there will be exit poll results for the Republican primaries for president and governor. In California, there will be exit poll results for the Republican presidential primary and the U.S. Senate primary.
Yahoo News reports:
Voters are heading to the polls in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Virginia. Alaska will also hold Republican caucuses, and Democrats will complete their Iowa caucuses and announce results.
On the GOP side, Trump is hurtling toward his third presidential nomination. Nikki Haley, Trump’s lone remaining challenger, vowed to compete through Tuesday’s contests, but her future beyond that is uncertain. The former U.N. ambassador has also walked back her pledge to support Trump, should he be the Republican nominee.
Today is SUPER TUESDAY! If you’re in any of these states, make sure you GOTV, and take part in the democratic process so many of us have served to defend! 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/ID5zXInCV6

Adam Schiff spent millions to ensure long-shot Republican Steve Garvey would be his general election rival, not Democrats Katie Porter or Barbara Lee. California Senate polls show the plan is working ahead of the March 5 primary. https://t.co/WtjrAzr73Z
