Via email from hate group leader Monica Cole:
Jewelry company Pandora, through its liberal advertising choices, is attempting to normalize the LGBTQ lifestyle. A recent Pandora commercial, “Loves, Unboxed,” includes a lesbian couple hugging and kissing.
The commercial depicts special gift-giving moments with various groups of people: friends, a traditional family (man, woman, and little girl), and a mother and daughter.
Unfortunately, Pandora also blatantly throws homosexuality in the viewer’s face with the lesbian couple’s intimate embrace.
Pandora should avoid aiming to please a small percentage of consumers while pushing away conservative customers; however, it seems that the company wants to clarify their stand on this controversial topic instead of remaining neutral in the culture war.
One Million Moms must remain diligent as we continue to stand up for biblical truth, including passages such as Romans 1:26-27, which prohibits sexual perversion of this type. Scripture repeatedly states that homosexuality is wrong, and God will not tolerate this sinful behavior.
Also, while there is concern about how this advertisement is pushing the LGBTQ agenda, it is also of great concern that this commercial is airing when children are likely to be watching.
TAKE ACTION: If you agree this ad is inappropriate, sign our petition urging Pandora to pull its LGBTQ-inclusive ad immediately. Thank you for signing, and please share with your friends and family today!
Their petition supposedly has 13,500 signatures:
I am not buying into your social agenda that pushes the LGBTQ lifestyle. Your commercial featuring a lesbian couple offends me, and it also offends many other conservative consumers. I disagree with the LGBTQ agenda you are forcing on families and children.
Airing these advertisements during prime time, when children are likely to be watching television, crosses a line that Pandora should have never crossed.
I will not support Pandora while your company airs commercials featuring same-sex couples or ads pushing the LBGTQ agenda. I urge Pandora to pull their LGBTQ-inclusive ads immediately. Please stick to promoting your products without making political and social statements.
As always, we thank Monica and her army of goth moms for alerting us to LGBTQ-inclusive marketing.
