In a recent Fox News primetime show, host Jesse Watters invited a medium to predict former President Donald Trump’s chances for the presidency in 2024 using tarot cards. The segment drew criticism from Christian media for its promotion of occult practices and mediums, which the Bible warns against.
The use of mediums, fortune-telling and mysticism is not only condemned in the Bible but also considered spiritually harmful to those who practice or engage with these occult practices. Christians are called to engage in spiritual warfare against such practices and to proclaim the truth of the gospel.
