U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan sparred with Trump defense attorney Alina Habba on Friday and warned her that continuing to improperly enter evidence during her closing statement could land her in “lock up.” Donald Trump is currently on trial to determine damages after the former president was found liable for defaming E. Jean Carroll, whom a jury also concluded Trump sexually abused in a department store in the 1990s.

Trump has tried to normalize conduct that could hardly be more abnormal. Usually people stop but not him.
