The Denver Post reports:
The Silt Police Department is investigating a Saturday night incident at a restaurant involving U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert and her ex-husband Jayson Boebert. In a statement to The Denver Post from her campaign manager, Boebert said, “This is a sad situation for all that keeps escalating and another reason I’m moving. I didn’t punch Jayson in the face and no one was arrested.”
Boebert said she intends to consult with her lawyer about her ex-husband’s claims about her on Saturday night. Jayson Boebert told The Denver Post in a short phone interview that he called the Silt Police Department on Sunday morning and told police he does not want to press charges. “I don’t want nothing to happen,” Jayson Boebert said. “Her and I were working through a difficult conversation.”

Update: Jayson Boebert confirmed his claim that Lauren Boebert “punched” him in the face multiple times & he has a witness. However, he said he wants what’s best for the two of them & their family, and that was calling the police today to ask them to end their investigation pic.twitter.com/3XTkDWJk9v
