Jordan Threatens Hunter Biden With Contempt Charge For Defying Subpoena (Jordan Defied Jan. 6 Subpoena)

Mediaite reports:

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) threatened Hunter Biden with a contempt of Congress charge on Wednesday shortly after the president’s son defied a congressional subpoena to show up for a deposition. “We’re disappointed that he didn’t show up. I mean, he was just across the way at the Capitol. You think he could come here and sit for questions,” began Jordan, who rejected Biden’s call for a public hearing.

And here’s your reminder from last year:

Ohio GOP Congressman Jim Jordan was unanimously referred to the bipartisan House Ethics Committee on Monday for refusing to share what he knows about former President Donald Trump’s role in the U.S. Capitol insurrection nearly two years ago. Jordan, perhaps Trump’s most vocal defender in Congress, was among four GOP congressmen referred to the ethics group for defying a Jan. 6 committee subpoena for testimony and documents.

Jordan also voted against enforcing subpoenas issued to Mark Meadows and Steve Bannon.
