GOP Rep Claims He Paid $5.72 For Two Apples In DC

“I bought two apples the other day in DC. Now, I know that’s the most expensive place in the world to buy groceries. Two apples in DC were $5.72 for those two apples. Now, I don’t know when the last time Joe Biden has been grocery shopping. but I suggest that he get out of his little penthouse up there and actually go grocery shopping. My guess is he hasn’t gone grocery shopping in 30-plus years.” – GOP Rep. Jerry Carl, speaking today on Fox Business. Carl was first elected in November 2020 and his first official act was his January 6, 2021 vote against certifying Biden’s win. He last appeared on JMG in June 2021 when he signed a demand for Biden to take a cognitive test.
