Colorado GOP Chair: The State Supreme Court Can “Go F*ck Themselves,” We Will Just Hold A Caucus Instead

Newsweek reports:

The Colorado Republican Party may withdraw from the 2024 presidential primary in protest of the state’s Supreme Court saying Donald Trump is disqualified from running for president again for allegedly engaging in an insurrection on January 6.

Dave Williams, chairman of the Colorado Republican Party, said the state could instead have a caucus, instead of an open voting primary process, to decide who Colorado picks as the GOP nomination in 2024 while vowing to appeal the historic ruling.

“We’re going to do whatever we can to protect the rights of voters in Colorado, and frankly, across the nation to choose Donald Trump if they so choose,” Williams said.

Williams appeared here in April 2022 when he lost a lawsuit to have the slogan “Let’s Go Brandon” appear by his name on the ballot for his failed run for the US House. Williams, who was endorsed by anti-vax groups, lost the GOP primary to incumbent Rep. Doug Lamborn by 15 points.

He first appeared on JMG in 2018 when as a Colorado state rep, he declared that immigrants are inherently violent. In 2017, he authored a vague bill that would have made it a felony to “render assistance to illegal aliens.”

Earlier this year Williams became state GOP chair after the Republican executive committee decided against selecting indicted QAnon former county clerk Tina Peters.
