“Let me sit you down and tell you a Christmas story — a story of chance, coincidence and luck.” That’s what we hear as the clock strikes midnight in the new teaser trailer for the Doctor Who holiday special, The Church on Ruby Road. There’s not much plot revealed in the 30-second clip, but it does feature the revered, long-running sci-fi series’ signature fantastical imagery and catchy visuals. We are briefly introduced to Ncuti Gatwa as the Time Lord and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday as they meet cute and begin their first adventure together.
