Tens of thousands of Americans are currently hospitalized with COVID-19, as the world braces for a fourth year dealing with the deadly virus. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data, COVID hospitalizations are on the rise for the third straight week.
COVID hospitalizations have increased by nearly 11%, resulting in almost 20,000 new hospitalizations during the week ending on November 25, the CDC confirms. Throughout the U.S., hospital beds are filling fast. More than 70% of inpatient beds are currently occupied, according to the CDC.
